Calvary Bible Church and Academy gave “Appreciation Baskets” to local Military Families.  We just wanted to say thank you and show our support to some of our local service men and their families.  We  gave food baskets and gifts to the children.  As we met the families it reminded just how much our Military personal sacrifice to keep America Free.  We will continue to pray for our United States Military.  May God Bless them as the fight to keep America safe from harm.

Calvary Bible Church will be having a Christmas Eve service.  December 24 at 4:00 pm.  We will be having Special music, Scripture reading, Christmas Carols, and a message from God’s Word.  Come and be a part.  We will be having a Christmas Day service at 10:00am.  Come and celebrate the birth of Christ with us.

The Sunday School  will be presenting the program, “Gift of Love”, December 18, 2011 at 6:00 pm.  All are invited to attend.  A Holiday Snack Buffet in gym following the service.

Calvary Bible Teens are conducting the services at the Dowagiac Nursing Home.  They will be singing Christmas Carols, giving  Testimonies, and being a blessing.

Calvary Bible Teens will having an all night activity on December 30.  We will be leaving the church at 8:00 PM.  Bring warm clothes some of our activities will be outside.  We will be having indoor competitions, Skits, Food, Games, and a Bible Challenge.  Event Theme “Spirit of the Seas.”  We will be fellowshipping with Anchor Baptist Church of South Haven, Michigan.  Cost for this event will be $15.00.  Permission slip will be needed.

Calvary Bible Church will be having a Candlelight Christmas Carol Service Sunday December 11th at 6pm. On Sunday December 18th at 6pm the sunday school classes will be presenting Gift of Love. There will be a holiday snack buffet in the gym following the program. On Saturday the 24 there will be a Christmas Eve Service at 4pm and combined services Christmas day at 10am.
